Gayle Parksey, 67, passed away, Friday, April 21, 2023 at Sara Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on October 24, 1955 to Robert and Phyllis (Knight) Parksey. He attended Brazil High School, and worked for Simonton Windows for many years. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and working on cars. Gayle was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Bruce Parksey.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Akers; sons, Clint Parksey and Ron (Robin) Parksey; companion, Melody Stanford; brother, Wayne D. (Phyllis) Parksey; grandchildren, Kimberly Mathias, Annabell Fogleman, and Zoie Fogleman; great-grandson, Jase Richardson.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday April 27, 2023 at Bee Ridge Cemetery in Brazil.
