Gregory Bartholow, 62, passed away, Friday, August 2, 2024 in Brazil, Indiana. He was born on January 9, 1961 in Santa Ana, California to the late Richard Bartholow and Maria Socorro (Vasquez) Bartholow. Gregory served his country in the United States Army and worked as a Fire Sprinkler Superintendent for CalWest Fire Protection.
When Greg wasn’t working, he enjoyed reading a good book, and loved music and was known to sing his heart away. He was an avid baker, and loved spending his free time with his family. He was also enjoyed writing poetry, like the one below.
Time is running out for me too,
And life has left scars on my face.
Though my body is growing old,
My soul will always stay young.
The day will come, When I too will cross the bridge,
And leave the earthly life behind.
But as long as you remember me,
I’ll live in your heart.
My soul will stay with you,
You will see my face in the rising sun.
My eyes in the stars, that look down on you every night.
I’ll look back one last time,
And then my form will be slowly swallowed up on the other shore.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Bartholow; son, Vanden Bartholow; brother, Geoffrey Bartholow; and grandchildren, Alexis Montoya and Alex Montoya, Jr.
Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Gregory’s cremation arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.moorefuneralhomes.com.
