Harold Guthrie Obituary

Harold Ray Guthrie, 80, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Trigg County, Kentucky on June 20, 1940 to the late Roy and Mildred (Wimberly) Guthrie. Harold attended Caldwell County High School, and worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for Romas Trucking. He enjoyed making candles, and wreathes as well as fishing and camping. Harold also loved to watch westerns and wrestling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Guthrie.

Harold is survived by his fiancée, Dixie Raab of Brazil, IN; daughters, Amber (David) Scherer of Columbus, Sharon (Keith) Sigler of Princeton, KY, Sherry Ferguson of Princeton, KY; step-daughters, Kristen (Jeff) Grubb of Paris, IL, and Tracey (George) Dickens of Center Point, IN; sister, Doris (David) Mitchell of Princeton, KY; niece, LaNita Mitchell of Princeton, KY; nephew, Scott Mitchell of Princeton, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Harold will be laid to rest at Summit Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
