James Christopher Hodgen, 38, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home in Brazil. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana on August 18, 1980 to Jimmie Lynn Hodgen and Linda (Smith) Hodgen. James attended Lafayette Jefferson High School, and worked at PPG in Brazil. He was extremely intelligent, in his free time he enjoyed playing video games, riding motorcycles, being in the outdoors experiencing nature, and helping in the garden. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Wayne Smith, and his paternal grandmother, Laura Hodgen.
