James Fred Singleton, 77, passed away Sunday October 2, 2022 at the Franciscan Hospice House. He was born in Putnam County, Indiana on October 15, 1944 to the late James and Ruby (Cooper) Singleton. Fred graduated from Eminence High School in the class of 1962, and went on to marry Barbara Blacketer on February 19, 1966. He retired from G.M. Truck and Bus as a Supervisor of Skilled Trades.

In his free time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching sports, and working on projects. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Barbara Singleton; son, Robby (Wendy) Singleton; daughter, Traci (Troy) Rehmel; brother, Marshall (Brenda) Singleton; grandchildren, Brandi (Tyler) Tutterow, Tyler (Patricia) Singleton, Chelsea (Cory) Compton, Kirstin Singleton; great-grandchildren, Nash, Evelyn, Sadie, Olive, and Charlotte.

A private celebration of Fred’s life will be held at a later date. Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
