Jerry Dean Lancaster

Jerry Dean Lancaster, 71, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Union Hospital.  He was born in Brazil, Indiana on September 28, 1949 to the late Freddie and Margaret (Byers) Lancaster. Jerry graduated from Brazil High School in 1967. Jerry worked his entire life in the logging industry until he retired in 2013. 

After retirement, Jerry enjoyed wood working and building things for his three granddaughters.  He was an avid John Wayne fan and collector.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 38 years, Sedonia (Kreilein) Lancaster.  

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kim Mangus of Russellville; son, Jerry Lancaster of Brazil; and three granddaughters, Kyann, Bristol, and Johannah.  

Moore Funeral Home was entrusted with Jerry’s cremation arrangements.  A graveside service at Clear Run Cemetery will be held at a later date.
