Obituary
John Richard Gruener, 56, passed away Thursday May 26, 2022 at his home in Martinsville. He was born on November 9, 1965 in Morristown, New Jersey to the late Herbert and Theresa (Dallen) Gruener. John graduated from Eminence High School, and later earned his Bachelors Degree from Indiana State University.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Gruener.
Survivors include his brothers, Jim (Penny) Gruener of Gosport, Indiana, Bob and (Valerie) Gruener of Filmore, Indiana, Bill (Debbie) Gruener of Punta Gorda, Florida, Jeff (Chari) Gruener of Brazil, Indiana; sister, Beth (Ron) Clodfelter of Rockville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Christina Gruener of Knightsville, Indiana; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
