Johnie Bryan Obituary

Brazil, Indiana

 Johnie Alan Bryan, 62, passed away at the Indianapolis Veterans Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2019.  He was born on March 22, 1957 to the late John and Betty (Sanders) Bryan in Brazil, Indiana.  

He attended Brazil High School and joined the United States Army in 1975 and served for many years as active duty and later as a reservist and was a veteran of the Gulf War.  Johnnie loved to play guitar and sing karaoke.  He also enjoyed spending time at the park with his friends and family.

Johnie was preceded in death by his sister: Dorthy Helen Summers, and granddaughter: Mercedes Compton.

        Justin (Shikara Knight) Bryan

Brothers:    Earnest (Nancy) Bryan

        Robert (Reba) Bryan

        Terry (Tiffany) Bryan

        Brad(Arlene) Bryan

Sisters:    Janice (Richard) Summers

        Susan (James) Hyde

        Teresa Hyde

He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
