Kara J. Wilson, 64, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on April 27, 1958 in Pendleton, Indiana to the late Ralph and Norma (Shelton) Craig. Kara attended Pendleton Heights High School and graduated in the class of 1977. She married Charlie Wilson on September 11, 1999. Kara worked as a cashier for K-Mart for 20 years. In her free time, Kara enjoyed raising chihuahuas, needle pointing, and watching musicals and Disney movies. She was a member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus in Brazil and Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Pendleton.
Kara is preceded in death by her brother, Dale Allen Craig; and sister, Kathy Ann McDole. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Charlie Wilson of Brazil; nephew, Kenneth McDole of Lapel; nieces, Brandi (Mark) Meece of Fortville, Amy (Mark) Scarduzio of Barrington, New Jersey, Sara Ruth Aschenbach of Mapleshade, New Jersey; great-niece, Kayleen Meece for Fortville; great-nephew, Chris Scarduzio of Mapleshade, New Jersey; mother-n-law, Ruth Wilson of Brazil; sister-n-law, Rebecca Jane Wilson of Brazil; and a special friend, Don McCullough ll of Brazil.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Church of Our Lord Jesus in Brazil with Pastor Anthony Orkmon officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery. The family will except friends for visitation on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. Memorial contributions may be made in Kara’s honor to the March of Dimes.
