Kathryn Irene Trout

Kathryn Irene Trout, 94, passed on October 18th, 2018 at her residence at Plantation Oaks in Orlando Florida.

Kathryn was born June 19th in Brazil to Henry John and Kathryn Pearl Boyce.  She attended Brazil High School before marrying her high school sweetheart William Edward Trout who preceded her in death in 2001.

 She lived a joyful life devoted to serving the Lord, as well as her family and friends.  An avid hostess and seasoned cook, she treasured taking care of all who entered her home.  A soprano in her musical duo A New Name (with Patty Gibson of Brazil), an active member of her church and its choir, Kathryn was always drawn to music. She found joy in travel, shopping and redecorating and lived each day with a smile, even in her final days.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Imogene Harris and husband Wayne and her brother Ray Henry Boyce and wife Mary.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter Eva Trout Roach and husband John Pressley Roach of Orlando, Florida; grand-daughter Erin Gabrielle Roach of Orlando Florida; her nieces Kathy Cotton and husband Larry of Brazil, Indiana; Jeanne Moschenrose of Hannibal, Missouri and Leslie Cronk and husband Douglas of Indianapolis, Indiana.  

A memorial service for friends and family will be held on November 2nd, 2018 from 4-6 at Moore’s Funeral Home in Brazil.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Clay County Humane Shelter.
