Kirk Hutcheson, 63, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Hickory Creek at Sunset after a brief illness. He was born on June 6, 1962 in Greencastle, Indiana to the late Marvin and Myra (Twigg) Hutcheson. Kirk graduated from South Putnam High School in the class of 1980 and married Mona Hull on September 1, 1984. He worked as a driver for Heartland Automotive.

Kirk was an honest, hardworking man of great faith. He loved sharing the word of God with family, friends and strangers. In his free time, he enjoyed drag racing, building guitars, and coin collecting. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gregory and Kerry Hutcheson.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mona Hutcheson; and his brothers, Phil (Becky) and David (Lisa), as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

 A celebration of Kirk’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday August 2, 2025 at Putnamville Baptist Church. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
