Lana K (Dickerson) Lucas

Lana K Lucas, 71, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born on July 18, 1951 to the late Oscar and Bernice (Batchelor) Dickerson. Lana graduated from Brazil High School in 1969, and married Wayne Lucas on June 20, 1971. She spent over 20 years working for Riddell Bank as the Vice President. Lana’s greatest enjoyment was attending yard sales and spending time with her family.

Lana is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lucas; brothers, Richard Dickerson, Larry Gwin; and sister, Carolyn Hoffman. Survivors include her sons, Marshall Lucas of Terre Haute, Thomas (Megan) Lucas of Brazil; brothers, Mike (Karen) Gwin of Terre Haute, Kenny Gwin of Tell City; sisters, Marlene (Rodney) Jones of Brazil, Myrtle (Larry) Basset of Plainfield, Mary (Wayne) Colclasure of Brazil, Loutetha Wittington of Brazil; grandchildren, Kalyn (Preston Farris) Lucas, Kambree Lucas, Keira Lucas, Oakleigh Lucas, Axel Lucas; great-grandson, Kayden Farris; and her two beloved dogs, Diesel and Lucky.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil has been entrusted with Lana’s cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at the Harmony Community Center in Brazil on Monday, June 5, 2023. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
