Lena Sue (Morris) Harris

Lena Sue Harris, 70, passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 2, 2024. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on July 30, 1953 to the late Densford and Flossie (Walker) Morris. Lena graduated from Brazil High School in 1971, and married Martin Harris on November 9, 1974. She attended the Anchor Church in Brazil.

Lena loved spending time with her family, but especially cherished her time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her down time she enjoyed bird watching, and watching TV. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin; her brother, Ricky Morris; and brother-in-laws, Fred Finkbiner and Billy Cunningham.

Survivors include her son, Marty (Rachael) Harris; her sisters, Kathy Cunningham and Judy Finkbiner; grandchildren, Micah (Becca) Harris and Mahalie (Devon) Dove; great-grandchildren, Brynlie, Clayton, Haddy, Jet, Madi,and Gabe.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Anchor Church in Brazil with Brother Micah Harris and Brother Devon Dove officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
