Maranda Jane (Decker) Croy
Obituary
Maranda Jane Croy, 61, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. She was born on August 22, 1961 in Clay County to the late Silas Decker and Gretchen (Girton) Clark. Maranda graduated from Brazil High School in 1979, and spent most of her life as a seamstress. No matter where she was, Maranda was always cleaning, fixing things and organizing; anything to keep her busy. She was best described as a people person and a giver.
Maranda is preceded in death by her brother, Henry Decker. Survivors include her brothers, Riley (Jen) Decker of Rockville, Thad (Polly) Decker of Brazil; and sister, Rannah Jones of Terre Haute.
Moore Funeral Home in Brazil has been entrusted with Maranda’s cremation arrangements. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Girton Cemetery.
