Marcella Dorothea Kaiser was born February 25, 1921 in Patricksburg, Indiana to Arthur William and Ruth Holmes Kaiser. She worked at Center Point restaurant for many years and she graduated from Brazil high school in 1939.

She was united in marriage to Wayne Russel Lawson on October 21, 1939. She worked at GC Murphy and Colombia records for a number of years. Marcella was also a devoted volunteer at St Vincent Clay Hospital gift shop.

She was proceeded in death by her two sons Gary Wayne Lawson(1958), Rickey Arthur Lawson(1975), her husband Wayne(1992) and her sister Dorothy Barr(2017). She is survived by her son Stephen Lawson, 5 grandchildren Aaron Lawson, Daniel Lawson, Marcella Heider, Jennifer Lawson-Abdul, Nathaniel Lawson and 8 great-grandchildren.

Marcella was laid to rest in a graveside service at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil, Indiana. Those wishing to honor her amazing life should consider a donation in her name to Bethel Chapel 924 East Pinckley Street Brazil, Indiana.
