Marcia Jean Davis, 80, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on July 23, 1945 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Lester and Verta (Love) Stigler. Marcia graduated from Brazil High School in 1963, and worked as a nurses aid at Brazil Hospital and Asbury Towers, as well as selling Avon. She married Yale “Butch” Davis on March 28, 1971, they are members of the Brazil First Baptist Church.

She absolutely adored animals, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, Yale “Butch” Davis; sister in-law, Mary Jane Fields; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2026 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating and burial to follow at McCullough-Stigler Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
