Margaret Ann (Cox) Miller Obituary

Margaret Ann Miller, 89, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home in Brazil. She was born on January 13, 1935 in Brazil to the late Roy and Carrie Ann (Riley) Cox. Margaret graduated from Brazil High School in 1953, and went on to marry Dorman “Bud” Miller on July 7, 1956. In her younger years she worked at Murphy’s Department Store and later was the secretary for the Clay County Surveyors Office.

Margaret loved spending time with her family. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, working crossword puzzles, watching gameshows and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; and her siblings, Paul, Jimmy and Helen Cox.

Survivors include her son, Dave (Janie) Miller, of Brazil; daughter, Rhonda Sotto of Torrence, California; grandchildren, Dana (Chad) Bradshaw, Alyssia Miller, Megan (Ricky) Miller, Jerry Hull, Kyle (Haley) Yocom, Kurtis (Lillie) Yocom, and Gian Carlo Sotto; great-grandchildren, Damian, Alexandria and Gabriel Haviland, Makinzee, Raygan, and Miranda Steadman, Bradyn Hull, and Penelope Yocom; great-great grandson, Kash Skinner; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating and burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
