Mary Ann (McKinney) Love

Mary A. Love was a caring and kind hearted Mother, Grandmother and Sister who will be greatly missed due to her passing on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital at the age of 70. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee McKinney and Norma Lear McKinney of Brazil, Indiana. Mary was a 1969 graduate of Van Buren High School and lived her entire life in Brazil, IN. She was a familiar face at the Brazil Walmart (25 year retiree) where she worked in both Fabric and Electronics departments. Previous to Walmart, she worked at Hooks and Big Wheel (3D). Her most recent part-time position was as a Direct Care Support with PCCS where she enjoyed brightening the lives of those she cared.

Mary A. Love is survived by her children, James J. Love (Spouse-Mary) of Cloverdale, IN, Daniel R. Love and Lisa Heckman of Brazil, IN, as well as her fiancee Ralph Richard of Saline City, IN and his daughter Susanna “Suzie” Richard, who she held as a daughter of her heart. Mary loved and cared for her grandchildren; Britney and Matthew Goodpasture of Brazil, IN. Mary is also survived by her brother Terry McKinney (Spouse Linda) and his children; Brian, Kevin, Patrick and Angela.

Mary will be remembered for her pure joy of life. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, hiking, reading and gardening. On Friday, December 3, 2021, we invite friends and family to a Celebration of Life at the Knightsville Community Center from 4pm-8pm catered by Pappy's BBQ. There will be a graveside service at Restlawn Cemetery on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1pm.
