Micheal K. Branum, 77, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Hudsonwood of Brazil. He was born on May 10, 1947 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Russell and Evelyn (Boyce) Branum. Mike graduated from Brazil High School in 1966 and served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Brazil First Baptist Church, and enjoyed attending meetings at the Clay County Historical Society. In his free time Mike enjoyed watching sports and attending ISU football games.

Survivors include his brother, Larry (Marilyn) Branum; niece Jennifer Grigsby; nephew, Jeffrey (Martha) Branum; great-nieces and nephews, Jordan (Haylee) Grigsby; Julie Boyce, Danny Boyce, Michaela Boyce; as well as several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 13, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Dr. Quintin Madden officiating and burial with military honors to follow at Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
