Michael Keith Nelson, 60, passed away Sunday September 29, 2019 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  He was born on September 24, 1959 in Brazil to the late Robert and Clara (Stedman) Nelson.  Michael graduated from Brazil High School in 1978 and later moved to North Carolina.

In his free time Michael enjoyed being outdoors fishing and spending time with his friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Michael Moulton.

Michael is survived by his sister, Patricia (Michael) Cook, Daughter, Sarah Moulton, Son, Harvey (Emily) Moulton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Clearview Cemetery on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.
