Michael Rambo, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home in Brazil. He was born on January 7, 1955 in Monticello, Illinois to the late Eugene Rambo and Virgie (Sheese) Miller. Mike graduated from Owen Valley High School, and served his country in the United States Army. He married Beverly Raab on June 22, 1979 and retired from the maintenance department at IAC. Mike was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the American Legion.

He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed any gatherings where they could be together, but Christmas was his favorite time of year. He also liked playing pool and fishing. Michael was preceded in death by his step-father, Bud Miller and granddaughter, Virginia Rambo.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Beverly Rambo of Brazil; sons, Eric Moss of Brazil, and Cecil (Marie) Rambo of Brazil; daughter, Rebecca (Frankie Prouse) Rambo of Brazil; brother, Roger (Sheila) Rambo of Carbon; sisters, Fonda (Greg Detro) Chesshire of East Glen, Donna (Charlie) McMullin of Greencastle, Sandy Rambo of Cloverdale, and Barb(Mike) Skene of Carbon; grandchildren, Alicia, Brittany, Courtney, Pat, Brianna, Raven, Michael, Luna, Chayce, C.J., and Thomas great-granddaughter, McKinley; special friends, Randy Peters and Paul Gunzel; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Steve Brattain officiating and burial with military honors to follow at Garrard Chapel in Bowling Green. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
