Mona Lee Obituary

Mona Jean Lee, 65, of Carbon, bound for Glory, entered her eternal life with Jesus on Thursday, August 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 25, 1958, to the late Charles Jr and Doris (Miller) Lee. Mona graduated from Brazil High School in 1978. She became a second mom to her niece Ashley and nephew Bobby after they were born and helped in their upbringing. She later worked at St. Vincent Clay Hospital in housekeeping where she met many friends. Mona loved making others happy and was always prepared with a gift or kind words. In her free time, she loved mushroom hunting, fishing, and swimming at Bridgeton and Raccoon Lake, and was always up for an adventure. Mona loved the Lord and would share God’s word with all who listened, and she was a prayer warrior. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Raymond “Buddy” Day. 

She leaves behind her twin sister Marla Day, brother Gene (Jody) Lee, and sister Sue Hoopingardner. Nieces and nephews include Ashley (Alan) Reagin, Bobby (Stacie) Day, Travis (Lisa) Turner, Tony (Courtney) Turner, T.J Lee, Erryca Hoopingardner, and Billy Hoopingardner. 

She was the greatest Great-Aunt to Gracie, Garrett, Eve Reagin, and Levi Day 

She was a special mom to her fur babies LoLo, Boo Bear, and Minnie

Her special friends include Robin Lawson, Patty Escott, and Michelle Arnold

Mona will be laid to rest at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton, per her wishes no services will be held. Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.moorefuneralhomes.com
