Obituary
Nita Jo Ann Pieper Spesard, 65, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Asbury Towers after a battle with cancer. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on November 16, 1957 to Judy (Neil) Bishop and Jesse (Gayle) Pieper, Sr. She attended North Putnam High School. Nita was full of life and loved the outdoors, crafts and quilting. She will be missed by all. Nita was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Pieper, Sr.; Step-Father, Neil Bishop; sister, Debbie Brent; step-sisters, Michelle Haas, and Renee’ Bishop; and step-brother, Chuck Bishop.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Spesard; grandchildren, Ashley (Travis) Payne and Cody Payne; great-grandson, Lincoln Allen; mother, Judy Bishop; brothers, Jesse (Cindy) Pieper, Jr., David (Pam) Pieper, Danny (Kim) Pieper, Ronnie (Kathy) Pieper; sisters, Robin (Phil) Pirtle, Jamie (Adam) Smith, Kerry Champ; step-brothers, Mike Bishop, Robert (Becky) Bishop; Step-sisters, Pam (Chuck) Cope, Marcia (Dale) Biggerstaff; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Nita’s cremation arrangements. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bainbridge Cemetery.
