Patricia Leigh (Larson) Krider

Brazil, Indiana 

Patricia Leigh Krider, 78, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Union Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota on March 18, 1942 to the late Lester and Ella (Holden) Larson. Pat graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960, and earned her Associates Degree at St. Mary of the Woods. She worked for GTE/Verizon for 25 years before becoming a teacher in Clay Community Schools. Pat was a member of Bee Ridge Christian Church.

Pat was a volunteer at heart, she loved serving her church and community, volunteering her time and effort with many organizations throughout the community. She enjoyed scrapbooking and was a Master Gardener, as well as member of the Herb Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Krider and her sister, Debra Larson.

She is survived by her son, Kory (Stefanie) Krider of Brazil; daughters, Robin Rudisel of Terre Haute, Beth (Mike) Wood of Poland, Lia (Bill) Raymann of Terre Haute, Kristy (Robert) Lavoine of Brazil; brother, John Larson of Thief River Falls, MN; brother-in-law, Rich (Judy) Krider, sister-in-law, Joyce Payne; grandchildren, Jason, Dericke, Hunter, Ally, Cody, Kristin, Colt,  Peyton, Devon, Bailey and Karigan; two great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Bee Ridge Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating and burial to follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday, from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Be Nice, Be Kind, envelopes will be available at the church.
