Patricia Ann (Garrison) Stinson

Patricia Ann Stinson, 83, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 after a short stay at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle. She was born on April 10, 1937 in Clay County to the late Fredrick Lloyd and Anna Ruth (Miller) Garrison. Pat graduated from Van Buren High School in 1955, and married Forrest Merle Stinson on June 15, 1957. She was a social butterfly, and never met a stranger. She loved to bake, often taking charge of her grandchildren’s birthday cakes. Pat also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest; sister, Eva Gottsche; brothers, John and Kenneth Garrison; as well as granddaughter, Kayla Stinson. 

Patricia is survived by her son, James (Vickie) Stinson of Russellville, IN; daughters, Shandra (Richard) White of Indianapolis, IN, Jeannie (Gary) McLean of Brazil, IN, Christine (Doug Strahl) Archer of Fillmore, IN; brother, Fredrick Garrison of Harmony, IN; sister, Saundra Wallace of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Misty (Tim) Wiltermood, Melissa Thornburg, Sara Stinson, Samantha Stinson, Jason (Tera) White, Emily (Pete) Dhonau, Miranda (Brandon) Garvin, Max and Sophia Archer; Eleven Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Dennis Holley officiating and burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
