Peggy Ann (Batson) Medsker

Peggy Ann Medsker, 74, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021 at Hudsonwood of Brazil. She was born in Leeds, Alabama on December 18, 1946 to the late Marion and Flossie (Turner) Batson. Peggy worked at Hoosier Hand-Pak, and also cleaned houses and motels as a side business. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Gann and later by William Medsker; as well as her brother, James Avary.

Survivors include her companion, Sam Mason; son, Billy Joe (Michelle) Gann; daughter, Ruth Pickens; brother, Marion Batson, Jr. and her grandson, Connor Pickens. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.
