Ralph Eugene Floyd, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil. He was born on November 2, 1945 in Clay County to the later Lawrence and Mildred (Walker) Floyd. Ralph graduated from Brazil High School, and retired from being a truck driver after 35 years.

In his free time Ralph enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, visiting with friends at local clubs and watching TV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; son, Brandon; brothers, Eddie, Vick, Richard, and Billy; as well as his sister, Audrey Morlan.

Survivors include his sons, Billy (Susan) Meeks, and Tommy Floyd; sisters, Mary Stute and Beverly (Chuck) Stephenson; grandchildren, Cayden Floyd and Austin Meeks; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Ralph’s cremation arrangements.
