Reva Ann Webster, 86, passed away at home surrounded by her family on December 15, 2024. Reva was born to the late Raymond and Hazel Jane (Fout) Cole of Knightsville, Indiana on May 16,1938.
Reva graduated from the Knightsville Common School in 1952 and then attended Van Buren High School. On April 9, 1955, she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Webster. Reva and Bill would have been married 70 years this coming April. Alongside her husband, Reva served within the community through Bill’s employment at Moore Funeral Home for many of those 70 years; much of that service was behind the scenes.
Losing her father early in life, out of the necessity to help her mother, she learned to be a devoted caregiver and homemaker at a young age. As the oldest of five, she helped to care for her siblings until her mother remarried later in life, giving her another brother to love. Reva spent her life caring for others without fail. Beginning with her siblings, then her own family, grandchildren, her mother is later years, and even her great grandchildren until her health prevented her from doing so.
Reva loved spending time outdoors, whether it be yard work and gardening, walking, spending time with her family, going to grandchildren’s ball games, or just doing what needed to be done.
Reva is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three babies whom they delivered and lost early in their marriage; as well as her brother Larry Cole and sisters Pamela Henkel and Raelene Cole.
She is survived by her children: Brad (Lisa) Webster of Staunton, Indiana, Thom (Lori) Webster and Kathy (Matt) Boor of Brazil. Grandchildren, Jacob Webster, Tyler (Haley) Webster, Lauren Webster, Shane and Logan Boor; and great-grands Bowen and Brynlee Webster. Brothers Jack (Connie) Cole of northern Indiana and Tim (Fleta) Van Ness and sister-in-law Norma Cole both of Brazil. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at First Christian Church in Brazil with Pastor Chris Gregg and Pastor Mark Grayless officiating and burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Daycare.
