Richard "Ric" Lohrman

Richard “Ric” Lohrman, 60, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Gibson Family Hospice Center in Terre Haute. He was born in Brazil on October 27, 1962 to James and Sharon (Lark) Lohrman. Ric graduated from Brazil High School in the class of 1981, and most recently worked at PDF.

He was a lifelong musician, he loved writing and playing music. Ric played in several bands over the years including “Maker”, “Ballz”, “Stepchild”, “Nightrain”, “Jet” and several more. When he wasn’t working or making music, he enjoyed tinkering around the house, fishing, playing board games, reading, and listening to the news or the History Channel. Ric is preceded in death by his daughter, Marlena Busard.

Survivors include his parents, James and Sharon Lohrman of Brazil; sisters, Jayme Payne of Brazil and Leslie (Jack) Rardin of Greenwood; brother, Jimmy (Lacey) Lohrman of Clinton and his granddaughter, Rhaelyn; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A celebration of Ric’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Jack Rardin officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
