Robert Ray Corrie, 69, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on November 7, 1956 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Forrest and Norma (Holland) Corrie. Robert graduated from Brazil High School in 1974, and retired from Great Dane Trailers in 2021 after 44 years.

Robert was an avid reader and World War II buff, he could be known as a human encyclopedia when it came to information about planes and trains from that era. He enjoyed collecting model trains, and spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

Survivors include his daughters, April (John) Corrie-Byrer and Sarah (Josh) Flaherty; brother, Dan Corrie; granddaughters Madalyn, Amelia, and Ava; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Henry Tuttle officiating and burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
