Robert E. Stultz

Knightsville, Indiana

Pastor Robert E. Stultz, Sr., 85 went to be with his Lord on January 12, 2021 at Union Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Momence, Illinois on June 3, 1935 to the late James and Bertha (Jones) Stultz. Bob attend Van Buren Schools, and married Carol Cromer on July 31, 1954. He worked for Arketex, Chesty Foods, before starting his own business, Stultz’s Disposal. Bob served the Lord for 55 years, pastoring both the West Blaine Full Gospel Church as well as the Turner Community Church. Most recently he and Carol attended Good News Church.

He loved being outside, watching birds and the flowers he planted. Bob never met a stranger, he loved being with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl, James, Lavern, Blaine and Lawrence Stultz; as well as his sister, Priscilla (Stultz) Targett.

Robert is survived by his wife of 66, Carol Stultz; son, Robert E. (Penny) Stultz, Jr.; daughters, Vicki (James) Deevers, Katy (Wade) Aker, Debbie (David) Torrence, Diane (Larry) Wallace; Eleven grandchildren, Thirty-Two Great-Grandchildren, as well as five Great-Great Grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Grover; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at NewLife Fellowship in East Glen with Rev. Doug Horton and Pastor Patrick Newton officiating and burial to follow Calcutta Cemetery in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
