Roger Fletcher

Roger Fletcher, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home in Staunton. He was born in Rushville, Illinois on April 23, 1940 to the late Harry and Martha (Gillenwater) Fletcher. Roger graduated from Glen High School in 1958, and served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a Teamster working with many companies throughout the years, including Alcan.

He loved riding horses, rodeo, playing euchre, “Honkey Tonkin” and spending time with friends and family.

   Son:    Roger (Michele) Fletcher, Brazil, Indiana

    Daughters:    Leslie (Jim) Duniphan, Casey, Illinois

            Brooke (Andy) Osborn, Lafayette, Indiana

    Sister:        Shelia (Mike) McDonald, Pittsboro, Indiana

    Grandchildren:    Jesse Fletcher, Dylan Fletcher, Zoe Duniphan, Alex Coffey, Mason Coffey, Cadence Osborn, Andrew Osborn, Tori Osborn, Jacklyn Duniphan, and Shirley Duniphan.

    Great-Granddaughter: Madelynn Philistia Fletcher

A celebration of Roger’s Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.  He will be laid to rest at Clearview Cemetery at a later date.
