Ronald Eugene Paver Obituary

Ronald Eugene Paver, 76, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Brazil surrounded by his family. He was born on January 9, 1945 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Floyd and Helen (Anderson) Paver. Ron graduated from Brazil High School in 1963, and served his country during in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Carolyn Bullerdick on February 16, 1968. Ron worked as a mechanic for Peabody Coal Company until they closed, and then worked for the City of Brazil until retirement. 

Ron never met a stranger, he loved talking to people. He enjoyed fishing, selling tackle, and in his early years he spent his free time bowling. Ron was preceded in death by his sisters, Jay McVey and Sue Morlan; as well as two great-grandchildren Kingstyn and Emma.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Paver  Brazil; son, Scott (Selma) Paver; daughters, Tammy (Jerry) Robison, Brazil, Indiana and Toni Graverson of Brazil; brother, James (Diane) Paver of Reelsville; sister, Sharon (Sam) Crawford, Carbon, Indiana; brother-in-law, Donnie Morlan; grandchildren, Casey (Josh) Whistler, Krista (Ian) Anderson, Megan Paver, Morgan Paver, Bradley (Lindsey) Horn, Trey (Kirsten) Horn, Londyn Scalf, and Jered Robison; as well as fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Larry Richmond officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
