Ronald "Wally" Ray Houser

Ronald “Wally” Ray Houser, 66, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Union Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 2, 1954 to the late Arnold Arthur, Sr. and Mary Martha (Yarde) Houser. Ron married Connie Jordan on December 18, 1976. He worked at Great Dane Trailers for 35 years, before retiring. 

Ron enjoyed doing yard work, working in his garden, shopping, watching movies and the Food Network. He was an avid woodworker, and cook that loved spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ron was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Houser and Arnold Houser, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Houser of Knightsville; sons, Christopher (Gail) Houser of Greenwood, and Joshua Houser of Brazil; daughter, Catrina (Jonathan) Enos of Greenwood; brothers, Jackie (Helen) Houser, and Patrick (Tamara) Houser; sisters, Linda Wallace, Sondra (Ed) Camadine, Carol (Roger) Backfish, Kay John, and Tammy (Andy) Wildman; sister-in-law, Sue Houser; as well as grandchildren, Juliet and Jocelyn Enos. 

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
