Ronald “Ronnie” Barnett Williams, ll, 35, was tragically taken from his family on March 20, 2021. Ronnie was born in Indianapolis on August 19, 1985 to Ronald and Candy (Deakin) Williams. He graduated from South Putnam High School in 2005 and furthered his education at Danville Community College and Iowa Wesleyan University where he played on the basketball team. Ronnie then received his Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana State University in 2010. He was a hard working man who always helped others.
Ronnie was very loving, compassionate, and genuine. You couldn’t help but notice Ronnie’s radiant blue eyes, contagious smile and laugh. He was everyone’s first phone call. Ronnie had a passion for hunting, fishing, basketball, and football. His true love was for his mom, his dad, his Katie girl, and his family. Ronnie was best known for always caring for his family, his close friends, his farm, and his fur babies.
Survivors include his parents; Ron and Candy Williams of Reelsville, fiance; Katie Huggins of Reelsville, sisters; Megan (Tim) Hunter of Greencastle, Makala (Steve) Benton of Reelsville, Molly Williams (deceased) of Reelsville, Makensy “Missy” Williams of Reelsville, grandfather; Robert Deakin, Sr. of Reelsville, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandparents; Barney and Doris Williams, and grandmother; Martha Deakin.
Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Ronnie’s arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
