Russell Henry Krider, Jr., 80, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on November 13, 1940 to the late Russell and Rosemary (Stewart) Krider. Russ graduated from Brazil High School, and served his country for ten years in the United States Army. He retired after 25 years of service with the GTE/Verizon phone company, and was a member of the Bee Ridge Christian Church.

Russ loved being outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking for mushrooms, and spending time conversing with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy; and his sister, Rita Harpold.

            Beth (Mike) Wood, Poland, Indiana

            Lia (Bill) Raymann, Terre Haute, Indiana

            Kristy (Robert) Lavoine, Brazil, Indiana

    Brother:    Richard (Judith) Krider, Rochester, Illinois 

    Sister:    Rosella Joyce Payne, Carbon, Indiana

    Several Nieces, Nephews and other extended family 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Ansil Harpold officiating and burial with military honors to follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Russ's funeral services will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bee Ridge Christian Church.
