Scott Rodgers, 47, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on July 20, 1977 to Terry and Deborah Rodgers. Scott graduated from Northview High School in 1995, and worked as a corrections officer at Putnamville Correctional Facility as well as O’Reilly Auto Parts. He married Jennifer Bales on March 10, 2016.

Scott loved his Harley, attending Bike Week in Daytona for over 20 years in a row. He enjoyed spending time in the garage, working on cars, and his favorite weekends were spent camping with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Rodgers; grandparents, Everett and Margaret Brown; and his father-in-law, James Bales.

Survivors include his wife Jennifer Rodgers; mother, Deborah Rodgers; father, Terry Rodgers; sons, Tanner (Tabitha) Kaelber, Austin Kaelber, and Clayton Kaelber; daughter, Jessamyn (J.D.) Cameron, and Makayla Spurgeon; brothers, Jason (Brittney) Rodgers, and Justin Rodgers; grandchildren, Tavin and Nathan; and his beloved dog, Nynuk.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Jackson Street Wesleyan Church in Brazil (701 West Jackson St. Brazil, Indiana) with Pastor Dennis Holley officiating.
