Sheralyn "Sherri" Deane (McKinney) Stewart Obituary

Sheralyn “Sherri” Deane Stewart, 74, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Terre Haute on July 6, 1946 to the late Harry and Jean (Holley) McKinney. Sherri graduated from Gerstmeyer Tech in 1964, and married Richard Lee Stewart on June 26, 1964. She was a member of the Jackson Street Wesleyan Church, and the Red Hat Society. Sherri retired from Wal Mart, as well as spending many years working as a seamstress and selling Avon. 

She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, sewing but mostly spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband; and her brother, Leon McKinney.

    Sons:    Christopher Stewart, Brazil, Indiana

        Kurt (Tracy) Stewart, Terre Haute, Indiana

    Brother:    Mark (Rita) McKinney, Gulf Port, Mississippi

    Sisters:    Ethelmae (Jesse) Graham, Seelyville, Indiana

            Carolyn (Larry) Robison, Brazil, Indiana

            Kathleen Fagg, Seelyville, Indiana

            Linda Graham, Terre Haute, Indiana

    Grandchildren:    Baileigh, Alexandria, and August Stewart

    Several Nieces, Nephews, and other extended family

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Dennis Holley officiating and burial to follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 P.M.
