Shirley Ann Myers, 72, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. She was born on January 12, 1951 in Gary, Indiana to the late Thomas and Patricia (Wallace) York. Shirley graduated from Lew Wallace High School in 1969. She married Kenneth Myers on March 30, 1990. In her free time, Shirley enjoyed painting, shopping and especially loved reading. She was a member of D.A.R. for several years, and attended Cloverland Gospel Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Myers of Brazil; brothers, Robert York of Autauga County, Alabama, Thomas York of Montgomery, Alabama; sisters, Donna Burns of Prattville, Alabama, Robin (Steve) Yetsko of Demont, Indiana; aunt, Karen Pribyla of Brazil; sister-n-laws, Diane (Ronnie) Suvelle of Slidell, Louisiana, Wendy (Sid) Johnson of McPherson, Kansas, Cindy Chilson of Topeka, Kansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor John Pierce officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
