Steven Albert Diel

Steven Albert Diel, 73, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute surrounded by his siblings. He was born on October 21, 1949 in Brazil to the late William and Norma (Hice) Diel. Steven graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1969, and worked at Wal-Mart in Brazil for over 20 years. He was an avid reader, and read his Bible daily. He enjoyed watching the old TV shows, and loved watching sports and collecting hats. Steven was a special individual who loved his family dearly.

Survivors include his brothers, Michael (Mary) Diel of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Mark Diel of Poland, Indiana, and David (Mary) Diel of Terre Haute, Indiana; sister, Diane (Ron) Eagan of Atwood, Illinois; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 31, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
