Terry R. Stewart

Terry R. Stewart, 70, of Wabash, Indiana formerly of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on, Monday, June 27, 2022, at his home. He was born to Roy and Mildred (McCall) Stewart on February 6, 1952, in Brazil, Indiana.

Terry married Susan E. Shambaugh on September 3, 1993. He worked for the Bridge and Building Department CSX Railroad as a locomotive crane operator. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, was an avid golfer, and being outdoors on the lake. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wabash, the HOG Chapter of Wabash, and Brotherhood of Way Employees Railroad Division of Teamsters.

Terry is survived by his wife, Susan Stewart of Wabash, Indiana; two sons, Scott Stewart of Brazil, Indiana, Shawn (Vicki) Stewart of Poland, Indiana; three daughters, Heather Stewart of Brazil, Indiana, Mary Stewart of Mason, Ohio, Caroline Stewart of Wabash, Indiana; three grandchildren, Brittany (Adam) Wisk, Tyler (Danielle) Marshall, and Michael Stewart; and four great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana, with Pastor J.P. Freeman and Pastor John Cook officiating. Burial will be at Falls Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to be directed to the Woman’s Club House in care of McDonald Funeral Homes.
