Vonna Harper Obituary

Vonna Marie Harper, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 7, 1952 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Thomas and Mary Ann (Giltz) Dalton. Vonna graduated from Van Buren High School in 1970, and married John Harper on April 6, 1971. She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church.

Vonna loved spending time with her family and friends, especially celebrating Christmas. She enjoyed reading historical romance novels and attending yard sales. Vonna and John enjoyed traveling on gambling trips to Tunica, Mississippi.

She is survived by her husband, John Harper; son, Flint Harper; daughters, Charity Harper and Erica (Larry) Manion; brother, Tony Dalton; sisters, Colleen (Robert) Kellum and Sharlene (Lyle) Shillings; brother-in-law: Tony (Sheri) Harper; grandson, Brent Manion; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
