Wanda Mae Butts, 72, went to be with her Lord on May 26, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on September 15, 1947 to the late Loyd and Loretta (Powell) Jenkins. Wanda graduated from Van Buren High School, and went on to marry Robert Butts on December 26, 1965. She worked as a teacher’s aid in the Clay Community School System, as well as working in medical records at Putnam County Hospital. Wanda and Bob attended Ebenezer Christian Church.
Wanda loved spending her free time reading, traveling to warmer climates, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Jenkins, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Bill Price officiating and burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
