William “Bill” Bryan, 72, passed away early Thursday morning, February 27, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born on August 20, 1952 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Donald Bryan and Virginia Gerber. He graduated from Brazil High School in 1971 and retired from his long time position with the Clay Community School Corporation.
Survivors include his daughter, Chelsea Bryan; sons, Bradley (Enez) Godsey and Chad Godsey; grandchildren, Jonah, Alayna, Bradley, Jr., Kaydence, Cristian, Gavin, Jacob, and Dallas; brothers, Dale (Connie), Tim, Tom (Nanette), Dave (Susie), and Bob (Tammy); sister, Reta (Ed); as well as many nieces, nephews, and an endless list of extended family and friends.
Bill was truly a one of a kind soul, who left a lasting mark on every one who knew him. His favorite hobby was reading, you hardly ever saw him without a book. When he wasn’t reading, he was outside working in the yard, coining himself with the title of “mower man”. Bill was known for telling tall tales, telling stories in a way only he could . The running joke in the family is that Bill was really Elvis. There will not be a day that passes by that his presence will not be felt by those closest to him. He was and will always be the greatest man that all of us have ever known. With that we say goodbye to the man, the myth, the legend…. Elvis Has Left the Building
