Wilma Jean Singer, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her home in Terre Haute. She was born in Terre Haute on March 18, 1945 to the late Chester and Eleanor (Bucholz) Biddle, and graduated from Gertsmeyer Tech. Wilma loved working in her yard and on her house, and was always there to offer a helping hand. She enjoyed woodworking and painting her crafts, but her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James Singer; son, James Ray Cooper; two infant daughters; sisters, Shirley LaTray, Roberta Seeley, Judy Grauer; and brothers, Tom and Robert Biddle.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Joe) Lippo of St. Augustine, Florida; boyfriend, Rodney Elkins; brothers, William (Jane) Biddle, Otis Biddle; grandchildren, Joseph (Kim) Lippo, Jamie Lippo; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Wiley Lippo, Amyah Preston; as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and other extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating and burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
