The Moore Funeral Home is a small, family owned business like many others in our community. Of necessity we operate on a cash basis and are totally dependent upon the families we serve for prompt payment.We do not have the financial resources to extend credit or to fulfill the functions of a bank or lending institution.  We do not bill or invoice estates.  The settlement of estates frequently takes months; sometimes years. We are not in a position to await payment over such extended periods. We expect that a family member to pay funeral expenses and file their claim for reimbursement with the decedent’s estate.
