To the Wilcoxon family, my deepest condolences.
Your parents were a dear couple and wonderful friends to my parents and me. Our mothers taught school together at Staunton and your father was always there to support them with his gentle, kind manner. He will be greatly missed, I'm sure by all of you.

Jane, we met briefly, when you were working at Rose Poly. I think our families thought our common ages and interests would be a good link. I hope life has been good to you as it has to me in California. Take good care and again, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Francis& Alene were wonderful people. We always enjoyed seeing both of them over the winter in Florida. We are among their many friends of Martin County High School basketball that miss them and will always remember both of them as our Indiana basketball friends. Francis led a long and eventful life with Alene and now they are together again. Talking hoops - perhaps?

Dearest Wilcoxon Family,
I was saddened to hear of Francis' passing. My mother,Ruth Ann Morris also lived at Cobblestone and thought highly of her friend , Francis.
I always enjoyed chatting with Francis and the peacefulness that surrounded him.He was a fine gentleman.
I spent many hours with Francis and Coral putting together jigsaw puzzles.
He will be missed by many,

XDear Jane, Mary and Richard and families:

Francis was a wonderful man and we considered him a good friend. He was always encouraging, thoughtful, and had a good sense of humor even in some discouraging times. But most
importantly, he was a Christian who lived his life accordingly.

Like your Mom and Dad once were, we are in Florida for a few more weeks. Therefore, we will not be able to be with you for his visitation. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this "valley" time

Love, Virgil and Mary Jo

Mr. Wilcoxin and his wife were two of the most compassionate people I have ever met in my entire life. His wife was my teacher and coach in high school and he was very involved in anything she was involved in. He attended most of our games and over the years spent time at the local sports venues. He will be remembered fondly as well as his wonderful wife, "Granny" Alene is. God bless his family.
