Jerry Tiefel

Jerry Michael Tiefel, 52, passed away Saturday April 29, 2017 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on April 23, 1965 to Jerry R. and Karen E. (Oxby) Tiefel. Jerry graduated from Staunton High School in the class of 1983. He is musically inclined, and loved playing the drums. Jerry also enjoyed reading the Bible, and other religious books. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert E. and Cleo M. Tiefel, as well as his maternal grandparents, Adrian L. and Freda M. Oxby.

Parents: Jerry and Karen Tiefel, Brazil, Indiana

Son: Adrian Michael Tiefel, Covington, Kentucky

Sister: Melissa Marie Burgess, Terre Haute, Indiana

Granddaughter: August Lynn Tiefel

Several Nieces, Nephews, and other extended family

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday May 4, 2017 at Van Cleve Cemetery in Brazil with Pastor Dave Felstein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Union United Methodist Church.
