Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family in this time of sorrow. Jimmy did have a dry sense of humor, but that is the way he was. To lose another Van Buren friend is very sad, for a good ole country school, there were many friends made throughout our years going there. God Bless from another Clay County Veteran.

I knew him as "Floater" when he logged our woods in Parke County. RIP Floater. Prayers for the family and friends.

Floater was always quick witted and had a great sense of dry humor. I had not seen Jimmie Joe for a long time. He was one who marched to a different drummer. I've missed him for a long time.

It was fun getting reacquainted with Jimmy these past weeks. I will always remember his dry sense of humor and his laugh, which he shared willingly with Norma and me. I am certain he is enjoying his log cabin in the sky. May he rest in God's loving arms.
