Goldie Lucille Loy, 104, passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville, Indiana. She was born in Brazil on May 17, 1912 to the late Paul and Bertha (Jenkins) Crafton. Lucille attended Brazil High School, and went on to marry Eugene Loy in May of 1935 who preceded her in death. She worked for the Brazil City Schools, and Adamson’s Laundry. Lucille was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church in Brazil, and was the oldest member of the old Beacon Light Sunday School Class. After retirement, she volunteered at the Brazil Food Pantry, the Brazil Library, and the senior citizens center.
She loved working with and caring for her flowers in the garden, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Lucille was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Crafton; sisters, Okie Roeschlein, Doris Spence; step-brother, Fred Schultz; Son-in-law, David Kellum, special great-grandson, Colton Jones; and special niece, Shirley Burk.

She was Aunt Luke to special nieces and nephew, Arlene Crafton Hudson, Paul Wayne Crafton, Roxie Hood, Marcia Phelps, Sandy Buck, and Pat Emerson.
A private graveside service will be held at Cottage Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bob Kumpf officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to either the Make a Wish Foundation (7330 Woodland Dr Suite 201, Indianapolis, IN 46278) or the Caring Ministry of the First United Methodist Church (201 N. Meridian Street, Brazil, Indiana 47834).
